Hi, Iā€™m Kaylee.

You've been searching for the therapist that you feel will be able to understand you and actually offer you some help. The process can be exhausting but I'm glad you're here.

We all have our own struggles, whether it's managing day to day stress or dealing with a heavy weight that's been sitting on our chest for awhile, making it hard to breathe. I'm passionate about helping you to find creative solutions to everyday stress along with actively listening to your story and exploring treatment options to help you overcome what is dragging you down. I assist you in taking control of your life and finding the inner fire that has been dulled by stress and anxiety.

Together we will walk through the therapy process, sharing sadness, worry, anger, laughter, and maybe a few cuss words along the way. Whatever your goals, I strive to provide you the space and resources to achieve them. You do not need to go through your struggles alone.

I've been practicing mental health therapy as a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 5 years primarily in community mental health settings. I have worked with children as young as 3 years old to adults 60+ addressing a variety of issues including behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship stress. I have additional training in Play Therapy and EMDR. By starting my own practice I am able to manage a lower client case load so that I can focus on providing you with the best care. I could go on about my credentials and training but this already feels long and I don't want you to fall asleep on me. So feel free to contact me if you would like more information.

Outside of the therapy room, I value spending time with my people, both friends and family. I also have a new found love of hot tea, so curling up with a good book, hot tea, and a fuzzy blanket are my dream rainy or snowy day plans (Okay, I'll be honest, I do this in the middle of summer too). Running and yoga are also important to me and I have hopes of completing yoga teacher training and being able to incorporate it into my therapy practice.

I hope this has given you a glimpse of Kaylee, both the therapist and the human. If you have any other questions I encourage you to contact me for a free consultation call. I look forward to a chance to meet you!
