FAQs
What is a consultation?
I offer a FREE 20 minute consultation call prior to scheduling a therapy appointment. During this time, I will contact you to discuss what you are wanting to address in therapy and to address any questions you may have about me or the therapy process. At this time, we will both be able to assess if we feel like we would be a good fit to continue working together and if so, set your first appointment.
Do you take my insurance?
I currently take Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tricare, and United Healthcare Commercial insurance. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to discuss what services are covered by your insurance.
How much does a session cost?
My current rates are $120 for a 45 minute session and $150 for a 60 minute session. Rates may be subject to increase with a 90 days notice.
How long is a session?
First sessions are scheduled for an hour and will be charged at the rate of $150. After the first session, I generally recommend 45 minute sessions but in some circumstances will assess the need for 60 minute sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no exact number on how many sessions each client will need. The number of sessions you will need is based on what concerns you want to address and your motivation level to do therapeutic work in and outside of the therapy room. I recommend that each client attend 4-8 consecutive sessions to see results and decide if the therapist they chose is the best fit for continuing work together.
Can I have an in person session?
At this time, I am only able to offer online sessions to clients located in the state of Kansas during our session time.
